About

One person, one taste, a handful of rooms.

myplaylistmusic is a small, hand-made site by a producer and curator. No algorithm. No genre tags pulled from a database. Just a small set of playlists I keep adding to, and a few of my own tracks scattered between them.

What guides the picks

A track earns its place on a playlist when it does its job and stays out of the way. Music for focus shouldn't demand attention. Music for a treatment room shouldn't startle anyone. Music for sleep shouldn't wake you up.

I listen to candidates a few times across different settings — mornings, late nights, on a small speaker, on headphones. If a track keeps working in all of those, it goes in.

Made by the curator

Alongside the curation I write and release my own music — mostly ambient, sometimes lo-fi, occasionally something stranger. A track of mine sits at the bottom of each category page, picked to fit the same room.

If something here helps your day go a little quieter, that's the whole point.

Notes

There's a small blog of short notes — craft notes on curation, and short pieces on what each room is for. No schedule, no comment section, an rss feed if you want one.

A side room of sketches holds experiments that don't fit a playlist — sound toys, generative bits, ideas in early form.

Get in touch

There's no comment section here, but I read every email. Track recommendations, corrections, room-specific stories all welcome — the email link lives in the footer.
